Upon my graduation, I was elected as General Secretary of the Russian Major Alumni Association at Yangon University of Foreign Languages and became an executive member of the University's Alumni Central Committee. We are currently in progress of forming a stronger and independent association which can support the needs of students and teachers of the University.
While studying English as a second language at the American Center, I played an active role in the American Center's community by mostly engaging in the Student Council's activities. I worked as Class Representative and Public Relations Committee Chairperson of the American Center Student Council. I also volunteered in several English language clubs such as Public Speaking Club, Debate Club, etc.
As an Executive Committee member of the American Center Student Council, I was nominated by the U.S. Embassy in Myanmar to attend the Town Hall with the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama and had the unique opportunity to raise questions.
